Adoption Process
You must be 19yrs of age to adopt
a dog.
FEE: Our adoption fee is $250.00.
The dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm checked prior to
adoption. If a puppy or an unaltered dog is adopted, it is MANDATORY the
dog be spayed/neutered by age 6 months for puppies or within one month of
adoption for older dogs.
Our adoption process includes
filling out an adoption form, an adoption fee, home visit, and reference/vet
checks. We do our utmost to ensure dogs and their adopters are matched
with strong consideration to lifestyle and needs. If you are not considered for
a particular dog try not to take offence to this as each dog's needs are unique
and we strive to place the dogs in permanent homes. Many rescue dogs have been
shuffled around and desperately need permanency to feel secure, and the last we
want is to cause these dogs more stress. Once your application is approved, any
dog(s) that are a match for you may be adopted. Often we'll receive
multiple applications for the same dog, in which case the first application
received that is a good "fit" will get the dog.
